Dawn Sentinels / Another stop in the Bay of Fires, Tasmania, Australia. The orange lichen on the rocks is very distinctive.
Fagus Reflected #1 / The Tarn Shelf in Mt. Field National Park is one of my top spots in Australia for the glory of the views across the mountains, tarns and lakes. You need to be fairly fit to walk up here, but its worth it. The colours of the autumn foliage of the Fagus Beech is very special. It is Australia's only native decuous plant and is only found in the Tasmanian High Country.

Liffey Falls Detail #1 / Liffey Falls are an easy walk from the bottom or top and includes several waterfalls as well as small rapids. It's popular with photographers and you probably won't be the only person there. Nevertheless there are many opportunities to get some great images. This little spot caught my eye. I think the colours are quite like those on some cow hides.
Reflected Gold / The lights under the bridge at Ross shine through the arches to spotlight this tree. I took this photo before dawn on a trip to Tasmania in 2016
Ross Bridge / The ornate bridges at Ross and Richmond in Tasmania are great subjects for the early morning and late evening. Great reflections in this oneI think.
Full Moon at Lake Pedder / I was lucky enough to visit Lake Pedder when there was both clear weather and a full moon. I like the mood in these tones and the detail of the moon itself. Not always easy to get both in one shot.
Lake Pedder #1 / Wilderness as far as the eye can see. The ranges around Lake Pedder launch themselves straight out of the lake into the sky. Wilderness as far as the eye can see.
Pedder Wilderness Lodge / There's camping ... or there's Pedder Wilderness Lodge! Great place, great people if you want to explore the South West National Park in Tasmania.
Green Rosella / They are quite common in Tasmania and very friendly when fed. I took this shot at Pedder Wilderness Lodge on the shores of Lake Pedder
Rust / The drought of 2016 in Tasmania exposed the good and the bad when the levels of the dams dropped dramatically. Long submerged pieces of iron and steel soon started rusting. This shot was taken at Lake Gordon in South West National Park.
Moon Waves / On a beautiful evening in May I took this shot from a lookout near our camp south of Lake Pedder in South West National Park, Tasmania, Australia
